Կենսագրութիւն Խմբագրել

Վարդանեան ծնած է Հալէպ, Սուրիա,[4] եւ հասակ նետած Թորոնթօ, Օնթարիօ, Գանատա, եւ այժմ կ'ապրի Պրուքլին, Նիւ Եորք, ԱՄՆ: Իր պլոկ-թերթը, Hyperallergic, հիմնուած է իր ու իր ամուսին Վիգէն Կէոիքեանի կողմէ 2009 թուականի Հոկտեմբերին[5] իբր «հարթակ մը լուրջ, խաղասէր եւ յանդուգն մտածողութեան»:[6] Վարդանեան ներդրում ունեցած է շատ մը առնցանց թերթերու մէջ ինչպէս Art:21 պլոկ,[7] Boldtype, The Brooklyn Rail,[8] Huffington Post,[9] AGBU News Magazine, Ararat Magazine,[10] and NYFA Current.[11] Ան նաեւ ներդրած է իբր հիւր Al Jazeera,[12] NPR,[13] ABC,[14] and WNYC հրատարակչականներուն մէջ:[15][16][17] Ան ՀԲԸՄի նախկին Հաղորդագրութիւններու Պատասխանատուն էր, աշխարհի ամէնէն մեծ ոչ-շահ հայկական կազմակերպութիւնը: Վարդանեան յանդուգնօրէն քաջալերած էր Hide/Seek ցուցահանդէսը որ արգիլուած էր Սմիթսոնիընին կողմէ:[18]

Արուեստի յարդարումներ Խմբագրել

Վարդանեան յարդարած է շատ մը ցուցահանդէսներ ուշ 1990ական թուականներէն ի վեր: Իր վերջին ցուցահանդէսը կոչուած էր «Fixed Point Perspective: Ottoman Studio Photography and its Contemporary Legacy», Minerva Projects-ի մէջ, Տենվըր, Քոլորատօ, ԱՄՆ:[19] Ցուցահանդէսը խառնուրդ մըն էր արդի եւ պատմական արուեստի, եւ ցուցադրեց արուեստագէտներ ինչպէս Կարինէ Թորոսեան եւ Հրայր Սարգիսեան, ինչպէս նաեւ ուրիշներ:[20]
